NMMI provides an exceptional academic experience for motivated high school and junior high school students. More than 95 percent of NMMI graduates go on to a four-year college. We provide a rigorous academic program that focuses on the whole person emphasizing academic excellence, leadership and character development, and physical development. NMMI is an academic institution operating within the framework of a military environment. We encourage critical thinking, personal growth, accountability, and camaraderie. We help today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders!
The high school curriculum is a nationally accredited college preparatory course of study. Qualified students may be permitted to take college courses while in high school.
The junior college curriculum is primarily designed to prepare students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities as juniors in good standing. Students earn an Associate in Arts or in Science degree upon graduation from the junior college.
FacultyAt NMMI, we pride ourselves on the quality of education we provide. All faculty members have masters or doctorate degrees and our low cadet-faculty ratio enables small class sizes and individual attention. All faculty members are available in their offices for tutoring every morning before class for any cadet who needs the extra assistance and on those weekends devoted to academic study hall.
